Box Truck Driver Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule
• Deliver or pick up items as instructed
• Document deliveries or log other shipment information
• Safely operate a box truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is properly secured and handled with care.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating the box truck.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to goods and equipment.

Box Truck Driver Requirements:

• Experience driving 26’ box truck
• Valid Drivers License with a great driving record.
• Proven experience as a box truck driver or similar role.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
• Ability to operate and maneuver a box truck in various road and weather conditions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength to load and unload cargo.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Able to work independently and lift up to 50 lbs.
